Random Thoughts on Life and Spiritual Growth

Nightcrawler
We don't fail when we fall, we fail when we refuse to get up, to dust it off and to try again.

The strength of our character and all abilities that we possess come from within our body, soul and mind. Once unlocked through spiritual journey of prayer and meditation will unleash itself in forms beyond our expectations; forms we never dreamed of and believed they exist.

Sometimes I think we should learn from fictional super-heroes that we see in comic books. Let's take a look at X-Man's "Nightcrawler" also known as Kurt Wagner. Do you think he acquired his abilities all at once? Indeed, he was born with certain unusual physical characteristics, but his power of self-teleportation for example, did not emerge until puberty. Wagner is an extremely spiritual man and I am sure that his agility, balance, bodily coordination, and flexibility were all enhanced to superhuman levels not solely based on his mutation but through a spiritual growth, exercise and being in touch with his inner self.

When we get in touch with our inner self, our spirituality, self love and compassion - not only for those we love, but for everyone else - our life will reshape itself and become more bearable with uncanny clarity, less negative consequences, and better understanding of ourselves and those that surround us.

Unfortunately there is always danger in exercising practices of self-love, which may suddenly surface and transform itself into a self-absorption, which if not controlled and not kept in balance can render us incapable to use our abilities of compassion that we received at birth as a gift from the infinite universe. In order for us to not inadvertently overly sway in either direction; that of the darkness or the white force, we must stay vigil and always on guard.

Our life was intended to be balanced, therefore it was created neutral, with free will and ability to choose. We must stay focused, centered, and try to use our priceless gift of free will and choice wisely and with patience.

Patience is indeed a virtue. Those that remain patient achieve plenty in life, but impatient men make hasty decisions, thus most of their choices are unbalanced and wrong. So, again, stay vigil in the process of your spiritual journey. Bless it be!
